November is Rhode Island’s cozy, in-between month. Not quite winter, but the holiday spirit is already in the air (it is for me!). From harvest festivals to holiday strolls and festive markets, there's no shortage of things to do across the Ocean State. Whether you're planning family outings, date nights, or just need a reason to get out and explore, here's your guide to the best events in Rhode Island this November 2025.

Newport Restaurant Week – Extended Edition

📍 Location: Restaurants across Newport County
📅 Dates: November 1–10, 2025
Your favorite Newport restaurants roll out special menus and prix-fixe deals for 10 delicious days. It’s the perfect excuse to try somewhere new or revisit an old favorite. Without breaking the bank.

RISD Museum Free Sunday

📍 Location: Providence
📅 Date: November 3, 2025
Enjoy world-class art without the admission fee! RISD’s first free Sunday of the month is a great excuse to wander, reflect, and get a little inspired especially as the colder days set in.

Veterans Day Parade – East Greenwich

📍 Location: Main Street, East Greenwich
📅 Date: November 11, 2025
One of Rhode Island’s best Veterans Day parades. Marching bands, local heroes, classic cars, and community pride fill the streets in honor of those who served.

Providence Rink Opening Day

📍 Location: BankNewport City Center, Providence
📅 Date: November 15, 2025 (estimated)
As soon as the rink opens, it’s officially the season for scarves, skates, and selfies. Expect music, food trucks, and maybe even some early snowflakes. (Check their website for exact opening day.)

Hope & Main Schoolyard Market – Warren
